Three Christs Of Ypsilanti

Well this is weird.

Here is a recorded review of an excellent book called The Three Christs of Ypsilanti, which is the non-fictional tale of a psychiatrist who brought together three men all of whom claimed to be Jesus Christ and created an encounter group. He then wrote an extended description of the experience.

What’s strange is that someone has seemingly recorded this review with a computerized voice. Or maybe it’s just a woman with Asperger’s… I don’t know what to make of that, but I like it.

I read this book twenty years ago and still remember a quote from one of the three Christs: “That is the Backseat Driving of Electronic Voodooism!” ┬áIt’s like a dada poem.

Here’s the book on Amazon:

If they were all Christ, then maybe one of them was actually the Holy Ghost.

As a Christian I am very doubtful that any of them were actually Jesus.
